What tools and techniques have you used to animate?

L/Os:
To continue to develop your animation
To be able to document the tools and techniques used

Starter - 10 minutes:

Watch this (very short) Flash animation and be prepared to discuss the animation techniques that you will be using this lesson...

As well as develop your animation, you will need to document the tools and techniques that you have used so far. You will need to add this to your Development Page on your Assignment Form - like so:

What tools and techniques have you used so far??? Turn to the person next to you and tell them three - go!

Main Tasks - 40 minutes:

There will be prizes for:

  1. Most Progress
  2. Best Development Pages

Open your Flash animation and Assignment form...
Make a note of the length of your animation so far next to '1' on your post it note (you can find out how many seconds it is at the bottom of your Flash screen).

Experts - we need you!! Are you confident and willing to be an expert? Don't forget that there are Greens/Golds up for grabs :-) And if you are not confident, I want you to challenge yourself  today - can you try a new technique or tool that you haven't used before???

Using Adobe Flash and the tutorials (found under the 10a1 Label on the Blog), animate your Comic Book. GO!!!

Mini Plenary - 5 minutes:

  1. Make a note of how many seconds of your animation you have next to '2' on your post it note
  2. Save a copy of your animation on the Write Drive for me to play!!
  3. Showcase your animation
  4. Rest of the class to give feedback in the form of two stars and a wish!
