D202 TellTale - Eportfolio & Planning

For this project you will create a multimedia story that would appeal to children in an age group within the range 5 to 11 years. It could be set in the real world, in a far away land or in outer space. Use your imagination!


The story will consist of:

• a splash screen 
• a navigation screen 
• the main story 
• a decision point for the user 
• two alternative animated endings You will need to think of a story where the audience can be offered a choice, each of which leads to an animated ending.

Create a folder called D202EPORTFOLIO which contains these three folders:

PRODUCTS
EVIDENCE
PROJECT MANAGEMENT


The eportfolio should include:

a home page showing:
who you are, your candidate number, centre name and number
the title of this SPB (Tell tale, Level 2)
the browser and resolution that should be used to view the eportfolio
links to the context pages.
context pages with commentaries to introduce and link to the required evidence
appropriate multimedia assets on the pages

This is a big project! You need to plan carefully to make sure that you finish everything and meet the deadline.

Produce a detailed project plan. Note that:

"You must do this before you start working on the tasks; a plan produced afterwards will not gain any marks, ask for help if you need it, it's very important to have a workable plan at the start if you don't get it right first time, it is perfectly acceptable to change it as you go along, provided you explain why..."
