OUTCOME: You will have created an introduction to your presentation and begun to explain the development of your chosen technology

Starter - 5 minutes

Take a look at the handout HERE - what do you need include on your presentation?

Main - 50 minutes

RED TASK

· Title

· Name

· Candidate Number

· Centre Name

· Centre Number

· What is the technology you will be talking about?

· Why have you chosen this technology?

· What is the history of this technology?

· Describe what changes have taken place in this technology?

· What might happen if this technology did not exist?


AMBER TASK

· Describe 5 different uses of this technology

· Describe what impact each of these uses has had

GREEN TASK

· Describe and explain at least one legal issue relating to this technology

· Describe and explain at least one ethical issue relating to this technology

· Describe and explain at least one social issue relating to this technology

· Include useful facts and figures about this technology

· Include suitable images about this technology

· A conclusion to your presentation

EXTENSION TASK

Using Adobe Fireworks / Photoshop / Illustrator create an empty canvas for each of the screens that you will need

• Lose Screen

MAKE SURE that each canvas is 640 x 480 pixels in size
MAKE SURE that you save each one as a PNG in your PRODUCTS folder
