Computing: Lesson 11

L/O - To continue to develop your knowledge of peripherals and computer parts 

OUTCOME - You will

Starter - 5 minutes


Using the white boards, describe a printer and its purpose in NO MORE THAN 12 WORDS!



We will use cards for progress today and greens for getting to the green task!

Main Task 1 - 15 minutes


  • Complete your Peripherals document from last lesson
  • Complete your Computer Shopping List document from last lesson
  • If you were not here: download THIS document and save it into your Computing folder (the task is to create the cheapest computer! Once you have found the component on the internet, add the URL to the spreadsheet)

Main Task 2 - 10 minutes 


  • Upload your Computer Shopping List to Google Drive and click 'share' - make sure that anyone with the link can view it. 
  • Create a new blog post titled 'Cheapest Computer' and copy and paste the above link to this post

Main Task 3 - 5 minutes


  • Ensure that all posts are on your blog ready for revising this week!! You should have the following posts:
