Creating Sprites - last lesson!

L/O - To continue to improve your graphic skills 
OUTCOME - You will create your assets for your game

Starter - 5 minutes

Planners out...
Homework for the NEXT TWO WEEKS - book yourself into an ICT clinic!

Take a look at the progress tracker HERE to see what you need to complete

Open your assets table - how many assets have you created for your game so far?? You should have at least:
  1. Your main character
  2. Your enemy
  3. One or two objects that you need to collect in your game

RED TASK

Three things to remember:
  1. The sprites must be 32X32 pixels in Adobe Illustrator
  2. They must have a transparent background
  3. You must save two copies - one as an AI and one as a PNG (go to File - Save for web and devices + choose png-24)

Have a go at creating your first sprite!


GREEN TASK



Finish creating the backgrounds that you will need for your 5 levels

Showcase! 

Add assets to Assets Table!
MAKE SURE that you save each assets as a PSD/AI and a PNG in your GAME folder
