Task 3 - Programming Techniques

LO - To complete Task 1 for the AQA Memory Game

Starter


  • Take a look at the marking grid
  • The Programming Techniques section is worth 36 marks out of a possible 63! This means that even if you do not have the code working you can still achieve a decent GCSE grade!!
  • Open your Memory Game Word document ... How many techniques have you filled in so far?? 
  • By the end of the lesson: At least THREE techniques for Task 1, 2 and 3 = Gold eRef



Main


RED

Make sure you have: 
  • Completed Task1 and Task2 and Task3 up to where we have figured out so far
  • Made comments on your code using hashtags!!

AMBER

  1. Open Task1and2and3 in IDLE (Python GUI) ... It is inside your MemoryGameCA folder
  2. Using your MemoryGameCA Word document click on 'Programming Techniques used' and fill in the table as best you can

GREEN
  1. Copy and paste all of your commented code under the Annotated Task 1, 2 and 3 Code headings. Annotate it to explain your work
  2. Fill in Task 1, 2 and 3 Programming techniques table
  3. Fill in Task 1, 2 and 3 Data Structures table
  4. Fill in Task 1, 2 and 3 Testing table
  5. Add screen clips showing evidence of your tests under Task 1, 2 and 3 Test Results
  6. Fill in Task 1, 2 and 3 Fixes - to show how you fixed any problems

Plenary


  1. Save your file as task3 
  2. Add screenshots to your Memory Game CA Word document
