Starter - 10 minutes:

Watch this example animation...

What Flash animation techniques/tools do you think they have used? 

Here are some example frames... Which technique could the animator have used to produce the effect on the word 'COASTER'???

Discuss which techniques/tools you will use today with the person next to you...

Make a note of the length of your animation so far (you can find out how many seconds it is at the bottom of your Flash screen).

Main Tasks - 40 minutes:

Experts - we need you!! Are you confident and willing to be an expert? Don't forget that there are Greens/Golds up for grabs :-) And if you are not confident, I want you to challenge yourself  today - can you try a new technique or tool that you haven't used before???

Using Adobe Flash and the tutorials (found under the 10a1 Label on the Blog), animate your Comic Book.

Mini Plenary - 5 minutes:

1. Make a note of how many seconds of your animation you have
2. Save a copy of your animation on the Write Drive for me to play!!
3. Showcase your animation
4. Rest of the class to give feedback in the form of two stars and a wish!
5. Greens for good feedback :-)

Plenary - 5 minutes:

1. Make a final note of your animation length
2. Blog about what you have achieved today and which new techniques/tools you have learnt
3. Blog about what you hope to achieve next lesson and how you can do so
