Activities Week: Session One

There was a real buzz on the first day of Activities Week. The students chose a role (Team Leader, Lead Designer, Lead Developer or Marketer) and from there they were put into teams. This type of grouping allowed them to work with their key strength and this showed throughout the sessions.


The students mindmapped 'issues' surrounding the Olympics in London and from there they came up with an idea for an App.

Next came the designing of the App using templates. The students worked on a screen each. 

The final part of the session included a 60 Second Elevator Pitch. The students had to 'sell' their App in 60 seconds and this came easily for most due to the great ideas! The hard part was awarding a team the winning position.
