Before you start on any detailed design work you must create a moodboard. This is where you communicate your initial design ideas for your game. You should use it to get feedback from your game testers.
The moodboard should include inspirational materials/images for:
- the game genre and style
- settings/environments
- any original characters
- any music, sound effects or speech
- anything else you think is important
You should annotate your moodboard to explain your ideas.
RED TASK
Take a look at your mindmap from last lesson - have you formulated an idea? If not, do so now!
AMBER TASKOpen up your Game Overview and check that you have filled this in correctly - can you improve on your game overviews? - DETAIL!!!
GREEN TASK
Start searching for images for your moodboard
Save these images into your moodboard folder
Note: You MUST collect inspirational images for ALL of the items on the checklist
