Scratch: Lesson 5

L/O: To demonstrate iteration programming using Scratch

OUTCOME: You will use the forever loop


Starter - 5 minutes



Click the picture to learn about iteration



Main - 45 minutes



Open your game from last lesson:

Red Task
Add a forever loop to your 'good item' sprite so it moves (up and down or left and right for example)



Orange TaskAdd a text bubble to your game so that your enemy sprite says something to your main character at the start of the game

Green Task
Work on your game to add other elements that you would like. You can use internet research to help

Plenary - 10 minutes


a) Open your Scratch Evidence Document
b) Complete the Lesson 4 section
c) Save your work

Homework

Task: Make a new sprite using makepixelart.com/free
Due in: next lesson
