Inserting a Video

Starter - 10 minutes

1. Open your Wildern email
2. Download the MP4 that I have sent you and save into this folder: H:\Sites\practise folder\Future Soundz\ASSETS

Main - 45 minutes

RED TASK

Nearly ALL of you said that you could not insert a 'click to play' video file into your website - today you will learn how to following these steps:

1. Ensure that your video file is saved inside the folder above
2. Open up Adobe Dreamweaver and manage your sites to your practise folder
3. Open your facilites.html page
4. Make your view split
5. Copy and paste the following code somwhere into the code:
6. <video src="H:\Sites\practise folder\Future Soundz\ASSETS\videofile.mp4" controls="controls" width="400" height="200"></video>
7. Save your work and preview it on the internet - did it work??

ORANGE TASK

What else do you need to learn? Go over previous blog tutorials/YouTube videos and use others in the class to help

Try downloading and inserting SOUND - for a GOLD!!!
