L/O 1 To develop phone wallpaper ideas

OUTCOME - You will start to design your phone wallpaper on paper and then digitally

Starter - 5 minutes

The ICT exam will be Thursday 15th & Friday 16th Jan from 8.30-11.00am in block 6. Over the next few lessons you will either be practising for the mock OR carrying on with the Heroes and Villains coursework. 

Main Task - 50 minutes

Red Task

Using the worksheet, design TWO ideas for a phone wallpaper using the criteria below:

PHONE WALLPAPER

Wallpaper will be free to download on to mobile phones.

You must produce the wallpaper for your chosen game.

 Produce the mobile phone wallpaper.

It must:

• be created using only graphic tools to edit and combine elements
• include a photograph of each 3D character
• be an appropriate size and resolution for a mobile phone screen.

Orange Task

Start to design your phone wallpaper digitally

Open Adobe Photoshop

Create a new document (320 x 480 pixels)

Use the tools and techniques you have learnt to design the phone wallpaper

Green Task

Get feedback from a peer and IMPROVE your phone wallpaper
