Moodboards: Part 1

L/O - To develop your knowledge of the purpose of a moodboardOutcome - You will start to collect images for your own moodboard

Starter - 5 minutes


The criteria:


What is a moodboard?
What is the purpose of a moodboard?
What should go on a moodboard?
What should not go on a moodboard?

Main - 50 minutes


Using the checklist to help you collect the images that you will need for your moodboard. Make sure you include:

The target audience
The game genre (type of game)
The style of the game (how it will look)
How you imagine the scenes
How you imagine the characters might look
Other items inspired by the back story
What you think the player might have to do during the game
Fonts and styles
Colour schemes
Ideas for any music, sound effects or speech
How your game will be tested
Anything else you think is important

Plenary - 5 minutes


How much progress have you made?
Have you collected at least half the items? You have had half the time!
