Creating the Story: Part 1

To develop your movie / animation in line with your user needs and target audience

Outcomes - you will start creating your movie / animation using the required software - keeping your user needs and target audience in mind

Starter - 10 minutes

1. Open your Wildern email. Here is a shortcut: mail.wildern.hants.sch.uk
2. From your email, find the link to Blogger (top right / 9 small squares) and open up your Year 8 ICT Blog
3. Create a new post (orange pencil icon) and give it the title 'Today's targets'
4. Set yourself TWO targets for today. Here are some examples:

• Today I will create the background for my animation and start to experiment with iCanAnimate
• Today I will gather 'actors' for my film and create an opening sequence for my film using Adobe Premiere Pro

Main - 45 minutes

Today is the day! You have chosen your method of producing your animation or movie - now to stat creating it!

We have:

5 MacBook laptops and 5 Stop Frame cameras for iCanAnimate/iMovie

10 FlipCams/Cameras for filming

PCs for Adobe Premiere Pro/Adobe Flash

Plenary - 5 minutes

Homework on missprymill.co.uk Set 26th November. Due 4th December.
