Storyboarding

L/Os:

To understand what I am looking for when marking your moodboard so that you will be able to achieve full marks for section A

To develop storyboards


Starter - 5 minutes


What is a storyboard? You will be using storyboard templates to draw your backgrounds for the following for your game:

Back Story
Start menu
Instructions menu
Level 1
Level 2
Level 3
Win Screen
Lose Screen
Any other levels

You can either:
a) Take a paper pack of the above storyboards and fill the written sections in by hand OR
b) Download all of the above storyboards here and fill the written sections in on computer

Either way you MUST draw the storyboards

Main - 50 minutes


  • Complete your moodboard annotations and ensure that you have feedback on ALL sections

  • Add the moodboard as a PDF to your ePortfolio


  • Storyboard the above scenes
  • Save all work in Sites - D205SPB12 -- Evidence

Plenary - 5 minutes


Blog about what you have achieved today. Do you need to attend catch up clinics?? Add a few dates to your planner!! 14th,21st Oct and 6th and 25th are ICT ESP nights
