Starter Task - 15 minutes

Your new topic this year will be Heroes and Villains - you can take a look at what you'll be doing here

First, you need to create folders and ensure you save all the work you do in the correct folders.

Create a folder DA203SPB inside your sites folder which contains these two subfolders:

• PRODUCTS – all final products must be saved here
• EVIDENCE – all other evidence must be saved here

Now take another look at what you will be doing for your Year 9 unit using the link here.... Blog your answers to the following questions...

1. What is your topic?
2. What are the five main products that you will be creating?
3. What other documents will you need to fill in?

Main Task - 40 minutes

This project focuses on the launch of a new game of your choice. The game must be based on the theme of heroes and villains. It may be any type of game such as a board game, a computer game or an online role playing game.

Your task: Can you give examples for each of the following? Blog them - with illustrations!

1. Board game examples
2. Computer game examples
3. Online role playing game examples

Extension task: Create a poster outlining your favourite of the above games
